Nameservers after activation

  • ns1.kohinoorhosting.com
  • ns2.kohinoorhosting.com

DNS caches update over time. Check your existing email records before you switch.

  1. Point your domain

Use our nameservers, or keep your DNS elsewhere and add the mail records cPanel shows.

  2. Create mailboxes

In cPanel, open Email Accounts and create each address with a strong password.

  3. Check deliverability

Open Email Deliverability, fix any SPF or DKIM warnings, then add DMARC.

  4. Connect your devices

Use Connect Devices next to each mailbox for your phone and computer settings.

  5. Test both ways

Send to and from an outside address, and check the spam folder on both sides.

Your email go-live checklist.

Work through it once; your ticks stay only if you ask.

  • Record your current MX records first.
  • Set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
  • Test on every phone you use.

Moving from Gmail or another email host?

A professional address is worth the switch. Plan it like a small move.

Keep your old messages

Add the old and new accounts to one email app with IMAP and drag folders across, or ask support about your options.

Switch without losing mail

Change MX records in a quiet hour and keep the old mailbox open until mail arrives at the new one.

Tell people your new address

Update your website, invoices, letterheads and social profiles, and set a forwarder from the old address if you can.
